Preparation of plans for planning and building regulation purposes, obtaining local authority consent and preparing appeal papers to the Planning Inspectorate. Sometimes this is done in conjunction with a specialist barrister.

Preparation of plans and specifications for contractors to estimate upon. Checking estimates received. Agreeing with clients contractors to be appointed.

The supervision of building work, release of certificates for payment to contractors and agreeing final accounts.
